Happy finals week to all of my fellow Iowa Staters and college students. This time is probably stressful to many college students because of the worry of just barely passing classes and making sure they end their semester on a good note. I know that I am on the same boat as you all because of the stress of having 6 classes to pass as well as all of my extra work I am doing, including my accelerator program and in the process of launching my new podcast, Dorm Rooms to Conference Rooms. It is currently Monday morning (or Sunday night), 12:51 AM and I have been drowning with studying, recording podcast shows, and editing courses, but I always make sure to write my weekly Monday blogs.
I want to briefly touch base on congratulating all of you who have yet again made it through another entire semester of college. I know that college can get stressful and some days you might just want to drop everything and never look back. But I am here to tell everyone and anyone that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. You might be on the verge of completely losing it but TRUST ME I have been on that end of the spectrum and I know how you feel. There is always that low point where you think everything is going to collapse, but that is the time you need to keep going. Why you may ask? Because right when you stop digging for gold, inches away you strike millions. Take that to heart and don’t give up just because you are stressed or overwhelmed.
I am taking 19 credits which is 6 classes along with launching a podcast, running a business/program, putting out daily content, and still making time for my workout. People wonder how I can do all of this and keep sane to myself? It is all about how you manage your time and your schedule. The human body can do wonders so make a routine and stick with your schedule. Don’t let your schedule take control of you, make sure you take control of your schedule. Also, do one thing at a time, don’t think about everything you have to do at once because that’s when you start stressing and lose the stableness that you may have. So stick with your schedule, right down your goals, study your ass off, and kill those finals.
…and when you ACE those finals make sure to celebrate 🙂 Happy Monday and have a great last week of finals everyone!
P.S. I used a lovely picture of these three cute puppies that I met last week at the Parks Library during dead week. Hope they brighten your day like how they did mine!
