This is a special featured blog that I decided to write today in honor of the Thanksgiving Holiday. I wanted to write this today to thank all of my family, friends, and followers who have been apart of my life. Today is the day when everyone gathers together to celebrate, eat great food, and show gratitude towards the things they are thankful for in their lives. I love Thanksgiving because I look forward to sharing a day with the people that I love most and of course eating a ton of yummy food.
However, I am sometimes guilty of not acknowledging in being thankful for the people and necessities that I have in life. As many of my friends and family know that I have a pretty busy lifestyle, and sometimes get caught up in work and forget to spend time with those that I cherish. I want to tell everyone to be thankful for what you have on a daily basis, not just this one day. Mainly because everyday is a new day, you don’t know what will happen in your future so recognize what you have and never take it for granted. I am truly thankful for the opportunities and mainly the people who have helped me get to where I am at today. A year ago I would have never guessed that I would be so blessed in the setting that I am at and the people who I get to work with and surround myself with each day.
I am thankful for Ayeesha Ali and Imran Ali, my wonderful siblings who always are there for me and support me on everything 100%.
I am thankful for Mohamed Ali, my loving dad who always takes care of my family, and where I got my hard working ethics from.
I am thankful for my beloved mother Shabnam Ali, who passed away 4 years ago, everything I do is to make her proud.
I am thankful for Ashlynn Cakerice, my best and first friend that I have ever made in my life, who always backs me up on everything I do.
I am thankful for Brandon T. Adams, who showed me what I love to do in life and pushes me each and everyday to reach my goals.
I am thankful for ALL of my friends, who push me and support me on a daily basis. I love you all.
The people who have been following me probably have noticed that I do challenges frequently. Well today I am going to challenge everyone of you to thank someone in your life that you may not talk to that much but has definitely made an impact on your life somehow. It will probably make their day and make you feel warm and fuzzy on the inside!
Thanksgiving is all about the “thanks” and the “giving”, so do both of those things today! Thank the people who have been in your life and give to your loved ones and people who may be in need for a little love that they may not have. My mom always told me to give to those who are more in need than you are, because that will definitely make their day a whole lot better.
But…. HAPPY TURKEYDAY! I love each and everyone of you and hope all of you guys have a great day filled with lots of food. 🙂
With love,
Sabah Ali
