This is my 25th blog and I have been writing these on a weekly basis now for about 5 months. Time flies when you are busy with school, podcasting, creating daily content, and trying to act on big ideas. By this time you guys probably already know that I enjoy doing things that are outside of my comfort zone. Everyday I try and do things that better myself because it always adds up to great outcomes. I have had a thought in my head for awhile now but haven’t acted on it because I was always busy or too distracted by other things. But it came to that time that I just had to do it. I announced this past Friday that I am going to be writing a book in 30 days and making it an Amazon best seller!

Taking the action of writing a book is really outside of my comfort zone because for one I am attempting to write it in 30 days. This is very challenging because I already have numerous things that I am working on that keep me busy. Secondly, I do write but I am still not the top notch writer that I could be therefore, I may not have the ‘adequate’ writing skills. Lastly, it’s sort of intimidating writing an entire book! When you think of writing a book it seems like a ton of work and you have to make sure everything is just how you want it. These reasons may be very alarming to some people so they may back away from not writing the book. However, this is why I am doing it because it scares me, which tells me I am doing something right.

I have had many experiences within the last year or so that have really taught and molded me into the person I am today. I want to show people how I changed my mindset in college to really live the way I want to. The main reason I am writing this book is to show myself the progression that I have made from the past year but also to show and tell everyone in college that they can live out their dreams while they are in college. Not a “step by step how to” but an illustration of how one can live the life they want through my own experiences. I believe this will be very beneficial for college students because it will show them insight on my life and how I’ve met numerous people who have helped me throughout it.

I love this quote because it really demonstrates why I do a lot of things I do while I am still in college. We keep pushing back deadlines because we think it’s not the right time, that we are too swallowed up with whatever else is going on, and we will do it later. That is the biggest lie we tell ourselves, ‘we will do it later’, because odds are we’re not going to do it, later becomes never. I want to graduate college knowing that I took every opportunity, every chance, every moment to make myself better as a person so I know my foundation of my why in life. Which is why I am going to be writing a book because it will be one of my other reasons that will help me get to that end point. Therefore, March 1st 2017, I am going to start my journey of 30 days to write, publish, and make an Amazon best seller book.

Let’s do this.
